Our own step and repeat
SKAM SUMMER across an Empire wall, a rooftop pool over the city, and a weekend the industry shows up for. All of it posted from our own account.
Our run
Since 2004
Two decades on the record, and you can check every row of it in one tap: the bet that started us, the founding, the press, the summit, and the week just gone.
- 1990sA rave on a betOur founder, Sujit Kundu, an LA teenager, throws a rave on a bet. It works, and he starts booking Warren G, Cypress Hill and Mobb Deep. The desk is running before it carries our name.

- 2015Fifteen percent, no contractsMusic Connection profiles Kundu running our desk on fifteen percent and no traditional contracts, with an ambition it measures against CAA and William Morris.
- 2015The label job, at the same timeThe interview we republished on our own blog has Kundu running SKAM while serving as Senior Vice President of Crossover Promo at Epic Records. We were the second job.
- 2016Vegas calls us dominantLas Vegas Weekly runs the profile under the headline “Industry titan Sujit Kundu builds SKAM into a dominant force.” The Strip is our home court.
- 2019Billboard runs the spotlightBillboard's Spotlight column profiles Kundu on the business of putting our DJs in rooms: a Los Angeles talent booker with an inbox-zero policy, working for the DJs the headline calls blue collar.
- 2021Our Summit takes the DREAMOur first annual SKAM Summer Music Summit takes over the entire 180-room DREAM Hollywood with a 24-hour livestream. From here we run our own industry weekend.
- 2023Chase B on the BET ballotWe post it on our own news page: our own Chase B is nominated for BET Hip Hop DJ of the Year, with the awards airing that October.

Day 1, Skam Summer 2026
Too $hort at the bar
Day one of Skam Summer 2026, with Lil Jon and Too $hort in the room. When we throw our own party, this is the guest list and this is what the room posts about it.
Since 2021 our SKAM Summer Music Summit has taken over Hollywood for a weekend: the first edition booked out the entire 180-room DREAM Hollywood and ran a 24-hour livestream alongside it.
The guest list is the pitch. Lil Jon and Too $hort held a poolside conversation at our 2026 Sunset Takeover, Bebe Rexha hosted a pool event for us, and we are already teasing the 2027 dates on our account.

Our story
We are the desk that runs the night.
Our logotype

Our mark, exactly as our own site serves it. Nothing here re-draws it.
SKAM is an acronym: Sujit Kundu Artist Management. Our founder came up as an LA club and rave promoter, built us in 2004, and ran the desk while serving as Senior Vice President of Crossover Promo at Epic Records. Music Connection's profile of him is blunt about how we work: fifteen percent, no traditional contracts, and an ambition to stand next to CAA and William Morris.
The product is our roster. Sixty names sit on it today, from open format and hip hop through EDM to our celebrity wing and our hosting lane, and all sixty are up the page: 52 of them with a live post straight off their own account, and 8 more by name, each carrying the page we publish for them. The residencies behind those names are what made us a Vegas staple.
Around the bookings sits the rest of our operation: a page per artist with press kits and riders, a live worldwide venue directory that runs from 1 OAK and TAO to rooms in Laos and Taiwan, our #SKAMLIFE line, our radio promotion sister company SKAM Division, and a summit in Hollywood the industry now plans its August around.
Where we have been written up: NY Daily News, the NY Post, ABC Radio, Forbes.com, E! News and US Weekly.
Sixty names. Every city. One call.
